What’s In The Bag: Hannah Green

Hannah Green is a five-time winner on the LPGA Tour and a Major Champion. Let’s take a look at what clubs the Australian is relying on in 2024

Since turning professional in 2016 Hannah Green has won 12 professional titles across the Epson Tour, WPGA Tour of Australasia, and LPGA Tour. The Australian’s most recent victory came at the 2024 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro.

Green joined the LPGA Tour as a rookie in 2018, in her seven seasons competing on the LPGA Tour the 27-year-old has racked up 24 career top-10 finishes and recorded five victories including the 2019 Women’s PGA Championship which made her a Major Champion.

Hannah Green made it back-to-back victories at the 2024 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Platspro

The Australian sits at 8th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings following her title defense at this year’s JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. Green became the first player this season to defend a crown they won in 2023.

The first victory of the 2024 season for Green came at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore. In the same year as her Major victory, Green added the 2019 Cambia Portland Classic to her list of victories.

Perhaps the biggest achievement for Green in 2019 wasn’t her Major Championship or becoming a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour, but being awarded the Greg Norman Medal, which is awarded to the best professional golfer representing Australia on the world stage. Since Green won the medal in 2019, Cam Smith has won it twice (2020 and 2022) and so has Minjee Lee (2021 and 2023).

The golfer from the City of Lights is staking her claims to be awarded the Greg Norman medal come the end of the season. Let’s take a look at what clubs the Perthian is playing with in 2024 to help her succeed…

Hannah Green uses a Srixon ZX5 MkII LS driver (10.5°) with a Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Pro Red shaft

The big stick in Green's bag is the low-spinning Srixon ZX5 MkII LS driver. The five-time LPGA Tour winner did have a Callaway Paradym Ai-Smoke in the bag earlier in the season but she moved back to a Srixon driver and she seems to be driving well.
